Why did you choose UW Bothell?
I chose UW Bothell because here you can get an awesome education from a university that has 150 years of history in the area, yet has the private school feel because of personal interactions with your professors.
How has UW Bothell helped you succeed?
UW Bothell has helped show me my potential. Since I have been a student at this university, I have learned the importance of an education and the importance of getting involved. Getting involved has improved my confidence, my public speaking, networking and personal relationships.
Plans after graduation
After I graduate, I would like to take some time off to work, travel, and spend some time with family before attending graduate school.
Where are you from?
I was born in Toda City, Japan and was adopted when I was three months old. The first place I ever called home was Honolulu, Hawaii before moving to Edmonds, Washington.
What have you been involved in during your time here?
I have been involved with Orientation for two years as an Orientation Leader and an Orientation Coordinator, and I will be the Campus Events Board Chair during the 2012-2013 school year.
