The Freshman Academic Experience
Dear
Prospective Students,
I
would like to invite you to explore all the opportunities available for you
here at the University of Washington Bothell.
Having designed a signature learning experience focused on your own process of
discovery; on integrative learning that works on both the heart and the head;
and on preparing you to change the world, especially in our region, we all
welcome you into our community of learners.
Our
curriculum for First Year students is organized around a Discovery Core that introduces
you to university life, trains you in interdisciplinary thinking, enables you to
meet people quickly, and prepares you for your major at UW Bothell. To learn more about
