What You Need to Apply

Be sure you have the following items as you start your online application:

  • Personal Information: Name, date of birth, permanent and mailing address, email address, phone number, residency and citizenship information, parent/guardian information, income and household size.
  • Educational Information: High school name, graduation date (or anticipated graduation date), college or university names, including dates attended.
  • Course Grid (Freshmen Only): As part of the application process, you will need to complete our course grid. This grid includes all of your high school course work until this point, and your projected classes for the rest of your 12th grade year. If you are a Running Start or College in the High School student, be sure to list this on the application by indicating the college or university name.
  • Transcripts: If you have received college level credit, an official transcript from that institution must be sent to the Admissions Office. Transcripts must be submitted in the original sealed envelope in order to be considered official. If you attended a Washington State Community or Technical College, please have your transcript(s) sent directly from the college electronically. More information can be found on the Transcripts page.
  • Payment: The online application fee can be paid with a credit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express or Discover) or with an electronic check (U.S. banks only). An application fee waiver can also be requested.

Applicants that have not attended a college or university following the summer of their high school graduation (includes Running Start, IB, AP, and College in the High School).

Transfer Application

Applicants who have attended a college or university after high school graduation (summer excluded), who have not earned a bachelor's degree.
