About Us

The Office of Academic Affairs (OAA) coordinates academic programs and administrative structures and oversees development and implementation of academic policies and procedures.

The OAA is headed by the Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs, who collaborates closely with UWB's interim Chancellor and the General Faculty Organization (GFO).

Led by the VC for Academic Affairs, the UW Bothell academic leadership team includes the five academic program directors, as well as the director of CUSP (lower-division program), the GFO chair and vice-chair, and the two associate vice chancellors: the director of Student Affairs and the director of Library and Academic Services. This team meets regularly as the Academic Council, which serves as a forum for shaping a wide range of academic policies, procedures, and new initiatives.

The Office of Academic Affairs also works to strengthen connections among UW Bothell's academic programs and between the campus, the community colleges, and surrounding communities.
