Established in 1990, the University of Washington Bothell was created to bring the world-renowned UW traditions of academic excellence to residents of the growing Puget Sound region.
First housed in a small business park, the University now sits atop a 128-acre plot of picturesque land, once home to the Boone-Truly Ranch. The thoroughly modern campus is both environmentally friendly and technologically savvy, as well architecturally stunning (winner of the American Institute of Architects 2002 Honor Award for Washington Architecture).
With these incredible surroundings, the University of Washington Bothell is home to more than 1,800 students who study a diverse array of programs including Business, Computing & Software Systems, Education, Interdisciplinary Arts & Sciences, and Nursing.
