Student Achievements

UW Bothell students achieve great things in and out of the classroom. Here are three members of the Class of 2012 who made a lasting impression on their classmates, faculty and community.

 

Christopher Duong

Christopher received the President's Medal, given to the graduate with the most distinguished academic record at UW Bothell. Duong received his bachelor of science in nursing. As a student, Duong worked as a nurse at Swedish Medical Center. His eventual goal is to become an advanced nurse pracitioner.

 

Christopher McRae

Christopher received the Chancellor's Medal for his extraordinary commitment to learning and his service to veterans. He received a bachelor of arts in community psychology. As a student, McRae worked closely with the Student Veterans Association and the Washington State Department of Veterans Affairs to make UW Bothell a national model for veterans' readjustment.

 

Jeb Pavleas

Jeb also received the Chancellor's Medal. He received a bachelor of science degree in computing and software systems. As a student at UW Bothell, Pavleas was a finalist in Microsoft's Imagine Cup Software Competition. He is a member of Upsilon Pi Epsilon, the honor society in the computing and information disciplines.
