International Student Admission Requirements

Bachelor of Science in CSS Admission Requirements

A minimum grade of 2.0 is required in the following courses:

Two Computer programming classes - CSS 161 and CSS 162* equivalent (may be counted towards Natural World requirements)
Calculus - BCUSP 124 & BCUSP 125 equivalent (may be counted towards Natual World requirement)
Probablility/Statistics (may be counted towards Natural World requirement)
English Composition
Advanced English Composition (may be counted towards VLPA requirement)

Bachelor of Arts in Applied Computing Admission Requirements

A minimum grade of 2.0 is required in the following courses:

Introduction to Programming
Two computer programming classes - CSS 161 and CSS 162* equivalent (may be counted towards Natural World requirements)
Calculus - BCUSP 124
Probability/Statistics
English Compostition
Advanced English Composition

*Students who have completed their programming prerequisites from an institution outside of Washington State will need to also provide a course syllabus or course description listing the content of each course. CSS Faculty will review the syllabi or course description to determine if the course is equivalent to CSS 161 or CSS 162.
