Celebrate “More Purple” on W Day

Join us to celebrate UW Bothell’s 25th Anniversary during the W Day celebration on Friday, Oct. 24 from 12 to 2 p.m. Stop by the Plaza for a party including cupcakes and a live broadcast by U_WAVE radio. The celebration continues on Saturday, Oct. 25 with tailgating at the Husky football game hosted by the UW Bothell Alumni Council.

Undocu Advocacy Training

UW Bothell faculty and staff have until Oct. 31 to register for a special training on how to support undocumented students. Participants will learn how to create safe spaces, provide support and ways to advocate for all students. Register now.


A lesson in displacement and dignity

Often, the most important lessons occur outside the classroom. Students from the "Place and Displacement in the Americas" class in the School of IAS painted two floors of a homeless shelter in Seattle. “It’s about dignity,” students were told. “Residents will be reminded that people care and have come to help.” Read More.


MSEE is approved; starts in 2015

The University of Washington Board of Regents has formally approved the new Master of Science in Electrical Engineering degree, which is expected to begin in January 2015. The MSEE is the fifth STEM degree to be approved in the last two years. Read More.
