Convocation is formal welcome

The class of 2020, transfer students and their families were welcomed to campus at Convocation, the annual tradition that officially kicks off the new school year. Sunday’s ceremony was followed by a picnic and another tradition – the new students’ photo on the sports field. Read more about Convocation.

Campus changes for parent-students

Working with the Parent Union student club, UW Bothell is striving to build a more robust support system for students with children. This year, students can apply for financial assistance. The Parent Union website lists locations for lactation and baby changing stations. Read more about parent-students.

Poets, writers converge for conference

Poet and multi-media performer Tracie Morris is featured in the annual fall convergence sponsored by the School of IAS. The event takes place Oct. 1-2 at the North Creek Events Center. Form and formation is the theme for the conference, which is free and open to the public. See the conference schedule.
